Fensec Boom Gates are available in two options – Sliding or Rising.

Sliding Boom Gate
The Fensec Sliding Boom Gate is a robust, vandal resistant barrier designed for use in unsupervised areas. Unlike the traditional boom
gate, the Sliding Boom presents a strong physical barrier to
unauthorised access. The sliding arm is manufactured from heavy
duty steel tube.

The sliding boom...

• Can be controlled by access control systems
• Can be programmed to open and close at pre-set times
• Has the added feature of automatic egress when the barrier is closed
• Is designed to withstand forceful entry

Manufactured from sturdy RHS steel, the beam is locked in the closed position via the drive system and closing support post. The steel
framed housing is clad with 1.6mm sheet. The Sliding Boom can be finished in either a galvanised finish or powder-coated.

Rising Boom Gates
Designed for continuous use, Fensec’s Rising Boom Gate is a heavy-duty, hydraulic barrier for beams of up to 8.5m with opening times of
up to 2.7 seconds Rising Boom Gates are supplied complete with a
steel housing cabinet, mounting base plate, air-cooled motor,
electronic control unit and voltage cut off isolator.

• Includes blanketed off cut-outs for mounting accessories
• Uses a revised, more efficient motor/piston assembly
• Has a reversed counterbalance coil operation that compresses
• Uses a smart drive torque motor eliminating the need for limit switches
• Has a greater lifespan than the traditional booms

The plugin control panel can also be changed in less than 5 minutes reducing down time, loss of revenue and maintainence costs. The boom gate cabinet is available in mild steel or stainless steel and is powdercoated white with a red cover. Manual open close can be carried out via compression spring control.
